A Hindu temple in Edogawa has opened its doors to visitors from all over the world. Starting from September, Oblige Co., Ltd is working with local religious organizations to set up tour packages designed to teach locals that they don’t have to leave Japan to experience foreign cultures. With their newest venture, participants can learn about Hindu worship, music, food and history through both observation, active participation and cross cultural dialogue. The tour details are below;

Hindu Cultural Appreciation Tour (roughly 2 and a half hours long)
• 6:30 – 7:00 = Introduction to Hindu culture.
• 7:00 – 7:30 = Ceremony observation
• 7:30 – 8:00 = Exploration of Hindu customs, such as yoga, music and chanting
• 8:00 – 8:30 = Vegan dinner
• 8:50 – 9:00 = Ceremony to put the gods to sleep
